Two stars that seem to have diverted the attention of the celebrity real estate crowd are Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. The couple was all the rage before their marriage and the subsequent birth of their child. So what type of real estate do team Bennifer inhabit every day?

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are currently living in a 1929 home in Brentwood, California. The home was actually purchased by Jennifer Garner before the couple decided to tie the knot. After her marriage to Ben Affleck, Affleck decided to move into the home and they have lived in the little (or not so little) beauty ever since.

The home is more than 3,800 square feet and offers four bedrooms, four bathrooms and an inground pool. Unlike many celebrities, Jennifer Garner decided she wanted the home to have more square footage than the lot, which only measure 0.74 acres.

The home was purchased by Jennifer Garner for a whopping $5.5 million dollars in 2004. The money for the home, according to the real estate records on file, was removed from the Gee family trust.

The move to the Brentwood home was a step up for actress Jennifer Garner. Before buying this home located on Tigertail Road, she owned a tiny 1,400 square foot home in Pacific Palisades.

The couple has lived fairly quietly in the home with little or no press or media coverage. Just recently, though, Conan O’Brien purchased a home just down the street from Mr. and Mrs. Ben Affleck and brought with him the press in full force.

It is too early to say whether or not the new neighbor will drive the loving couple of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck out of town. But, one thing is for sure. It is nice to see a celebrity couple buying real estate at least a little similar to the every day Joes out there.
