I'm thinking to myself "I need a cool multimedia
site, and I don't have any submissions in the can to speak
of. I'll go hit Yahoo!"
The fact is that Yahoo! is my go-to website
when I need anything. They have a style that many try
to emulate, and the web is a better place for it.
Without further ado, here's this week's Bald
Guy Pick:
This is a sublime combination of just enough graphics and plenty
of text. The design is cool, sharp, bandwidth-smart, and a search
yields what you want, not what's loaded with keywords.
When I first logged on to the WWW about a million years ago,
Yahoo! was my first website that I used for searching. It is still
my homepage in all of my browsers. It's the class of the web directories,
folks. long may they be there.
