The world of comics became just a little less
funny yesterday.
Charles Schulz, Peanut's veritable creator, died
of a heart attack at the age of 77.
Earlier this year, due to health problems, he
elected to quit drawing the strip that he began in 1950. His
farewell piece, a letter that Snoopy read while sitting on top
of the world's most famous dog house, is pinned up in hundreds
of thousands of offices, cubicles, homes, and even jail cells
world wide.
