Somehow, the thought of warm island breezes came
into my head and just wouldn't go away. And having recently
watched "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," I was
also thinking about archaeology. Put the two thoughts together
and you get
Waya, a small island in the Fiji group, is a beautiful place
with white sand beaches and tropical beauty. It is also a significant
archaeological spot, with digs currently taking place turning
up 3000 year old artifacts.
The University of Hawaii is offering students the chance to travel
to the island and live in tents as they participate in the project.
Sounds like a great way to spend the summer to me. Check out
the site's beautiful and interesting photos.
