Just as a reminder, we here at WorldVillage pride ourselves on being a family safe network. This includes on the chat servers. If your worried about the content of what’s said on the network, to help ease your mind, I’d like to start out by telling you we have approximately 22 IRC Operators that work for the network and help ensure things are kept family safe.
We also have general rules set up for the network which must be followed. These rules are set to ensure that the conduct on the server stays of a family safe nature.

In order to chat on VillageIRC, WebTV users must follow these simple steps:

1. From the Web Home, highlight and choose Community.
2. Once in Community, highlight and choose Chat.
3. From the Chat menu, highlight and choose GoTo.
4. At this point WebTV will ask you to enter the following information:

Server irc.VillageIRC.net
Port 7000
Room #WorldVillage

In the next few months there will be development on our own WebTV chat client. Look out for it in the near future.
