Electronic Pet Doors

One of the complaints of pet owners that use pet doors is the intrusion of other animals into the home. One day a stray cat or someone else’s dog may slip through the pet door opening to surprise you and your family. This can be an annoying frustration to say the very least. Electronic pet doors offer a solution to this problem of unwanted visitors.

Electronic pet doors work with a special collar for your pet or pets. Only your pet is allowed in and out of the electronic door. It will not open for a possum, stray cat or your neighbor’s dog because they are not wearing the special color that gives admittance. This means that your home is secure and that only your selected pets can come and go through the pet door.

It is important to give pets freedom but sometimes you do not want your pet going in and out of the house at will. You can set the electronic door to not open when your pet comes near it. This means that you have control over the door and your pet cannot go outdoors without your knowledge. Simply switch the door back to regular mode when it is alright for your pet to have freedom again. For more on pet doors check out www.AboutPetDoors.com.
