Fundraising Opportunities with Pet Nutrition Products
Nonprofit organizations that are involved in animal welfare can raise money for their organizations by participating in the Pet Nutrition Products Charity Program. Pet Nutrition Products (PNP) is a manufacturer and retailer of veterinarian created and endorsed vitamins, supplements and health related products for dogs and cats. PNP donates 5% of their gross sales to animal related causes.
There are two ways that animal-related organizations can raise money through the Pet Nutrition Products Charity Program.
The first way is for your organization to become an affiliate of PNP. When your organization refers customers to PNP you will receive 15% of the sales that you refer. You need to sign up through the PNP website and provide proof of your 501(c)3 status. PNP sells all the major name brand pet health products such as Frontline and Advantage. If you buy these products, you know they are not inexpensive. If you asked your supporters to buy from PNP you could raise a significant amount of money throughout the year for your nonprofit organization.
Another way to fundraise through Pet Nutrition Products is to apply to be one of the charities they give 5% of all sales to. You may apply online through the PNP website to be considered. Again, you need to send in proof of your nonprofit status.
The Pet Nutrition Products website also has a lot of information about health care for dogs and cats. There is also a section with advice from a veterinarian and form to ask for advice. Your supporters would probably find this information useful and would visit the site often, and hopefully, make purchases often.
