How To Buy The Right Barstool?

It is important when buying a barstool to get the ideal size and height so that it fits under your island or table or bar. Here is a guide on how to accomplish this . . . Pay close attention to the height of the seat as there are several different measurements of the seat height.


Regular Barstool

A bar stool is commonly 29-31 inches from the floor to the seat (seat height). Pair this bar stool with a 41-43 inch table height.

Counter Bar Stool

A counter stool is commonly 24-26 inches from the floor to the seat (seat height). Pair this counter stool with a 35-37 inch table height.

A Regular Chair

A chair is commonly 17-19 inches from the floor to the seat (seat height). Pair this chair with a 29-31 inch table height.
