IKEA Coming to Tampa Florida
Tampa residents are excited about the world’s largest furniture manufacturer coming to their area. Once only available through mail order catalog in Tampa, now IKEA lovers will soon be able to browse up and down isles of IKEA heaven in their own backyard.
Groundbreaking ceremony took place early June in Tampa celebrated by Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio and City Council member Thomas Scott with shovels in hand. Slated to open in summer of 2009, IKEA will be located along Adamo Drive at 22nd Street and the Crosstown Expressway.
IKEA sells home products, flat pack furniture, accessories, for bathrooms and kitchens and other rooms in the home. People love IKEA for it’s sleek design and affordable prices.
