Michelle Williams On Heath Ledger’s Death

Michelle Williams says her ” heart is broken” over Heath Ledger’s death, in her first statement since the Australian- born actor’s death.


Williams and Ledger became a couple during the filming of 2005′s ” Broke back Mountain “, in which they costarred as husband and wife. They had a daughter Matilda, born October 2005.

Williams said in a statement, ” Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tenderhearted, high- spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day.”
