Mobile Home Bathtubs

Mobile home bathtubs are similar to other bathtubs with a few slight differences. One of the biggest differences in mobile home bathtubs from other tubs is that the mobile home bathtubs are slightly shorter and slightly narrower than other tubs. This makes them fit into the bathroom spaces much easier. The average person will not even notice the differences in the sizes of the mobile home bathtubs because it is so small.

Many bathtubs have a traditional tile walling for the bathtubs. With the mobile home bathtubs the majority of the tubs have a plastic paneling wall instead of the tile. This is so that moving the mobile home is easier and the weight of the plastic is lighter than the tiling. These plastic panel walls can easily be removed or have tile placed on them at a later date to customize the bathroom.

Another consideration for mobile home bathtubs is that they are over all much more light weight than traditional tubs. This is so that the flooring of the mobile home can support the weight of the tubs. Like the walling, the lighter tub makes it much easier when you are transporting the mobile home to another location.

The majority of mobile home bathtubs are either a single tub unit with a shower unit or they are garden tub styles. Often in the master bathroom, there will be mobile home bathtubs and a single shower unit. In the secondary or hall bathrooms there will be mobile home bathtubs that are single with a shower head unit so that the tub can be used for bathing or showering.
