When you enjoy the sport of paintball you learn very quickly how important paintball masks can be for your game enjoyment and strategy. The primary purpose of paintball masks of course is to offer protection to players in the facial area. However, there are some tips to keep in mind when renting or buying paintball masks for your adventurous games.

You need to be able to see out of the paint ball masks. This might seem a little obvious but it is a challenge to play the game if you constantly have to adjust your mask to see. You not only need to be able to see in front of you but your peripheral vision should not be blocked either. You do not want your opposition sneaking up on you from the side because your peripheral vision was blocked by your mask.

Find a paintball mask that is breathable. Some of the older masks do not breathe well. You will be doing a lot of running and have the adrenalin going when you are playing paintball games. Thus it is important that your mask fit well but allows you to easily and comfortably breathe.
