Remarkable Honeyguide Birds are Proven to Communicate with People

What we thought to be just a fairytale phenomena – people talking to animals is at last proven to be possible in this rare relationship between a remarkable species of birds called Honeyguides and local Yao honey-hunters in Africa.

With the probe led by Dr. Claire Spottiswoode of University of Cambridge, they were able to study Yao people’s interaction with the said birds. An astonishing figures has been presented during the study. This is the first documented communication between humans and wild animals.
