Only a Matter of Opinion?

"Editorials, columns, and editorial cartoons are classified as opinion pieces. Only a Matter of Opinion? introduces opinion pieces, encouraging all to write and to draw their own after instruction and research."

Divided into five sections, this ThinkQuest entry offers many resources for students, writers, and teachers of writing. The Editorials section offers how to write editorials, models, lesson ideas, and resources. The Commentary/Columns section offers information on how to write columns and commentaries, models, lesson ideas, and resources, including lists of columnists, past and present.

The Editorial Cartooning section discusses how to create editorial cartoons and provides techniques, models, lesson ideas, and resources. The Art of Writing section features vocabulary, fallacies of logic, lesson ideas, and resources.

A Research Center, Teachers' Guide, and other resources round out the site.
