Rat Tales, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH: A Unit Study ThinkQuest received the Best of Contest award
in the 2000 ThinkQuest Junior competition. Based on the book by Robert C. O'Brien, the literature-based unit
offers students the opportunity to quiz themselves on each of 28 chapters and learn more about
topics from the book. Sections of the ThinkQuest feature: Animal Rights, Simple Machines, Craft Projects,
Rodent Math, Animal Communication, and more.
Rating: An outstanding literature-based unit for upper elementary students.
