I Remember JFK: A Baby Boomer's Pleasant Reminiscing Spot
Week of 12/01/2006

Are you old enough to remember JFK? Even just a little bit?
My first coherent memory was my mom letting out a scream one afternoon whiole watching her favorite soap.
"They've killed the President!"
My generation grew up in the 60's, with Walter Cronkite giving updates on the Vietnam War, Gemini space capsules orbiting the earth with pairs of astronauts in them, and Captain Kangaroo on the TV. We also had neighborhood groceries, carried transistor radios, and rode banana-seat bikes.
Check out this site. Every day a Baby Boomer memory is added. It'll take you way back.
