KartOO Week of 00/00/0000 http://www.kartoo.com/en_index.htm KartOO is a an artifical-intelligence meta search engine which presents its results on a map. KartOO searches many different search engines simultaneously and returns the results as a "graphic map of information. The map illustrates the relationship between Web sites and related topics." Users can start a KartOO search by typing key words into the search box. Understanding the graphic map may be confusing at first, but a short tutorial online will help clarify. The Web sites are displayed as balls with the largest ball containing the most relevant information. When the mouse is passed over the balls on the map, a description of the site is shown. Moving the mouse over the topics on the map shows the relationship between the topic and the search terms. Rating: Cool!
