Study Dog

StudyDog is a free supplemental reading program designed for children from Pre-K to 2nd Grade. The program can help a child master the core reading skills if the child is ready to learn to read or is as much as a year behind in reading at school.
StudyDog focuses on specific early reading skills that children need to practice and accomplish in order to become successful readers. StudyDog helps to teach these skills by combining multimedia and game-like activities with a curriculum and instructional method proven effective for Kindergarteners and for first and second graders. StudyDog offers a reading adventure in which lessons are followed independently by the child on the computer.
The program is available in two versions:
StudyDog - Single User
This version of StudyDog is ideal for anyone working with a single child or user.
StudyDog - Classroom
This version of StudyDog is specially designed for tracking multiple users or for use in a classroom setting. Teachers can track the overall progress of up to 20 separate users.
Rating: A fine supplemental program for early reading.
