Chocolate: A Multidisciplinary WebQuest Week of 09/18/2005 http://www.btcs.org/tutorials/WebQuests/chocolate/index.html Students who work through the Chocolate: A Multidisciplinary WebQuest work cooperatively in teams to: Research the history of chocolate by creating a chocolate timeline. Explore the life cycle of the plant that produces cocoa beans. Discover how large companies mass-produce chocolate today. Think creatively about the potential issues, problems, and solutions involved in beginning their own chocolate business. Share their knowledge by making a notebook-style or digital portfolio. Rating: Excellent use of the WebQuest process and much learning for students.
