"On the slaughter of the innocents: a prayer for the victims of abortion"
hear the cries
of another unborn angel
who will never see the light of day
heed the sighs
of another mother's breaking heart
crushed beneath the burden of the weight of empty arms
and all the years enduring the price she's forced to pay
wipe the eyes
of the father's unshed tears behind his silent wall
for the child he never knew
but thinks of every day
pray for all
that the light may shine upon us
heal us
and help us find our way
