I'm writing you this so I can share with you an experience that a close friend of mine had. Let's call her Sue. Sue had an abortion when she was about 16 years old. Because she was so young she was forced to have one. Anyway, one day when she was about 25 years old, she was asleep and then, she explained to me, all of a sudden she was awaken by a little boy that resembled her and the guy that she was pregnant from. The little boy looked as if he was playing football with friends, he was dirty and sweaty as any other 9 year old boy would be, he was smiling and coming towards her, she suddenly realized that it was the baby she had previously aborted about 9 years earlier, and as he was coming toward her smiling as if he wanted to hug her, she summoned him away with her hand and told him not to come near her. She went on to explain how frightened she was.

Several years has passed since, and now she is a born-again Christian. Since then she has been forgiven by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but she wanted me to share with you her story. To get a clear picture about what happened after she had the abortion, let me explain what she felt.

Immediately after the procedure was over, she felt that she had lost her best friend. She cried and wished that she hadn't done it, but it was too late, the damage had already been done. She was young and didn't really understand what was going on because before the procedure her doctor told her that since she was barely a month pregnant, the baby wouldn't feel it - that the baby wasn't even human.

That night as she was asleep, she had a bad dream that someone was burying her alive, she could see someone put her in a hole and dropping straw on her face as she cried and screamed. Therefore, she realized that she had made a terrible choice. She was really forced to have an abortion because her mother forced her to do so.

Now at 28 she has a totally different outlook on abortion, and the terrible scars that it leaves on a person. She is now against abortions. The relationship she has with Jesus has grown tremendously and now she understands that the little boy she saw was her son, and he just wanted to hug her for the first time before he disappeared into thin air. She never really shared this story with anyone, until now.

You see, I'm Sue, and I just wanted to share my story with you.

I now have a 3 year old son, and I will not trade him for the world, but I needed to get this off of my chest and I praise the Lord our Savior that He has given me the strength to do so here.
