A Slice of America on Her Birthday…

What could be better than a small town parade to celebrate the 4th of July?

Firemen, high school band, neighborhood floats, kids on bikes, political candidates, realtors and carpet cleaners were all part of this year’s Superior, Colorado, neighborhood parade.

My kids love gathering candy from the floats and I love snapping pictures of all the participants. Here are just a few photos from yesterday’s festivities celebrating our nation’s birthday. Happy Independence Day and God Bless America.

And don’t forget to thank a veteran – remember, if you aren’t a veteran, would you be willing to put your life on the line for our country? They are.
