Adams Papers

Yesterday we visited the home of our second president, John Adams. But we also visited the birthplace of our sixth president, John Quincy Adams. The second president was the father our sixth president, the only time that has occurred in our 225 year history. But it could happen again this coming election, who knows.

Today’s FamSite looks at a portion of the Massachusetts Historical Society that houses the family papers of not only these two presidents, but their other family members as well. The Adams Family has given over 250 years of service to our nation, and you can read about it at this site.
