American Presidents Life Portraits
Well, I knew if I left the list laying around long enough, it would get lost. And sure enough it did. For the past 18 months, the Family Site of the Day has been visiting sites that celebrate the president of our nation. I faithfully wrote down every president’s site that we had visited. But, when getting ready to do our next one, I can’t find it. Most likely it has been recycled by now. But fear not, we will still visit every president that we have yet to, and the ones that were previously visited as well.
The site is called American Presidents Life Portraits is a site that celebrates the careers of the men who have served as the leader of our country. Here you can find out the biographical facts about each presidents, key events in their term of office, personal data such as residences, birthplaces and where they are buried. There is online reference material as well as teachers guide available for use. There is a wealth of links available to supplement these sites, and Internet technology used makes the learning interesting instead of boring.
