Ben’s Guide to the US Government
Our young people may have some questions about how our government runs, and what all those bureaus and agencies are all about. If so, then today’s FamSite is one that can help answer some of those questions.
The site is called Ben’s Guide to U.S. Government for Kids, and is designed to help students and young children understand how our government works. It is divided up into grade levels that explain their subjects using the appropriate language level. The K-2 grades focus on topics such as Ben’s ABCs and Symbols of the Government while the 9-12 grades look at the Different Branches of Government, the Election Process, and Citizenship, among other topics. There is also a section for parents and teachers (just in case we chronologically challenged folks have forgotten some of the details). It is great having Ben Franklin as a tour guide as well.
