In “The Wizard of Oz”, Dorothy travels a long way, only to discover that to find the happiness she was hunting for, she had to look no further than her back yard. As many of you know, I have been searching, like a surfer hunting for the perfect wave, for the perfect screen saver. I have reviewed several for WorldVillage, but finding that perfect one has seemed to elude me.

Until now. And I didn’t have to look much further than my back yard. The company that makes them (and is the featured site today) is located less than 5 miles from my house. They are called Copernicus Software, and they are offering, for reasonable prices, some of the most colorful screen savers I have yet to see. The majority of their subjects are national parks, from Yosemite in California, to the Great Smoky Mountains. But also are featured are scenes from Washington, D.C., Civil War photographs and sites, and a Digital National Park. But they also offer educational screen savers, which are designed to help educate while the monitor rests. They have also expanded their product line to include some interesting trivia games, and puzzles as well.

So if you are looking for a change in monitor scenery, give this site and this company a look over. I think you will be pleased with the product and the results.
