Disneyland

Disneyland. The very sound of the name conjures up memories for millions of people around the world. Since 1954, this amusement park has been representing the best that the Disney Empire has to offer. It truly has lived up to its reputation as “the Happiest Place on Earth”.

But how long has it been since you have been there? What sort of changes has it underwent since your last visit? Are you going again in the near future, and want to see what is going on? Then today’s site is the place to visit. It is the official Disneyland web site, and has everything you need to know about the place. A visitor can take a tour of the park, get the latest information on ride closures, expansions, etc, and the ever-important information about hours, cost, and (shudder) rules. There is also travel and hotel information, as well as suggested places to eat.

Having had the pleasure of visiting both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, I prefer the latter for its intimate charm. There is a certain small town feel to the place, as well as an air of nostalgia. After all, Disneyland and I are the same age, and we’ve been through a lot together. This site is an excellent place to find out more about this southern California landmark, and discover (or rediscover) the magic of Disney.
