Not only are we approaching the Christmas season, we are approaching the end of the year. But it is not a normal end of the year, or decade, or century. It is the end of a millennium, and is an important date and time. Today’s FamSite is one that helps us to look back at some of the sites and sounds of the past 100 years of that same millennium.
It is called EathStation 1, and is a site that features a lot of audio, video, and photographs of our past. Here you can view a wide variety of material, everything from television, radio and movie themes, pictures and sounds of the Civil Rights movement, World War II, and a sound effects library. There is unique area called aUdIo WiErDnEsS that I will leave you to discover on your own.
