Homeschool “U”

With the funding problems that today’s schools are having, and with other social pressures on children, many parents are exercising their option of educating them at home. There are many differnt ways to accomplish this, but today’s Family Site of the Day has found a site that seems to stand above the rest.

The site is called Homeschool “U”, a site that is unique in how it spreads it message. Instead of a site with links and educational hyperbole, it is one that shares the educational experience, in a very personal way. There are regular entires from the family, sharing their experiences, and offering advice on what works for them. One strong message is the presence of the Lord Jesus, and how easy it is to teach children love and respect for others. Currently, there is an on-going diary about a 31-day road trip coming up. Sounds like fun.

I am tremendously impressed with the sincere message that this site has to offer. It is a wonderful place to visit, and one that can serve as an example of all who are interested in home schooling.
