Internet Public Library Youth Division
Growing up in a small town, our resources for activity were limited. One of my fondest memories of growing up was Saturday mornings. It was then I got to spend time in the local public library, browsing and reading books to my hearts content.
Today’s Family Site is very similar, except it isn’t in a small town. It is in cyberspace and is called the Internet Public Library Youth Division. Here young visitors can read, color, work on puzzles, and do research for school projects. There is also a section on mathematics, containing various subjects on counting money and how to measure. You can also Ask Mr. Math.
Books can fire the imagination of children. From the seeds that are planted in their young minds come the leaders and citizens of tomorrow. Let them spend some time in the library.
