Joe Paterno – Official Biography

Today, all the talk is going to be over who won the Rose Bowl and thus gained the national championship. However, we’re going to concentrate on one of the greatest football coaches, and men, who has ever existed.
His name is Joe Paterno, and he just led his team to a victory in the Orange Bowl to win his 21st bowl game. Penn State finished 11-1 this year, and will likely finish in the top three. This after many were predicting Joe’s finish as a coach after the last two losing seasons.

This is the way football used to be, friends, before boosters who stop at nothing to buy wins, coaches who use players as chattel, and athletic directors and college presidents who specialize in looking the other way became par for the course.
