KidsHealth at the AMA

The health of our children is a major concern for parents. A coughing child, one with a fever, or one that “just isn’t him/herself” is a cause for concern. But waiting for a child to become sick is not the time to find out about what can go wrong with them. Today’s FamSite is a place to gain some of the knowledge either for yourself or for someone you know.

Called KidsHealth at the AMA, this is a site that is a wealth of information about children. There are areas for childhood safety, the development of babies, infections, first aid, the list goes on. You can search specific conditions, as well as general health questions. There is also a hospital and doctor finder, as well as a survey and a search engine.

This site has quite a bit of information to sift through. It can take some time to do, but it will be time well spent. Be sure to bookmark this site, as you never can tell when it will come in handy.
