Lost In Space: The Classic Series
Do you know what earth-shaking event passed unnoticed on October 16, 1997? Well, almost unnoticed. It was seen on cable television on the Sci-Fi Channel. It is the date that the Jupiter 2 spacecraft left the planet Earth and headed towards Alpha Centauri. Did you miss that event? If you did, then head towards today’s Family Site and find out all the details.
The site today is Lost in Space: The Classic Series, and celebrates one of the most underrated television shows of all time. It predated Star Trek by almost 2 years, and was the brainchild of Irwin Allen. It was a family oriented adventure show featuring the Robinson family, as they are sent to a distant galaxy to expand mans knowledge of the universe. However, thanks to one Dr. Smith, that doesn’t happen, and they become the Space Family Robinson. The program ran for three years, and has become a cult classic today.
Here is where you can find out everything about the program, from episode plots to cast biographies, to audio clips, and pictures galore. This is fine site that is well maintained, with a good collection of links to other sites, such as the new Lost In Space movie, scheduled to be released in April, 1998. So stop by, and before you long may be saying “Danger, Will Robinson” with real meaning.
