The site is called MayaQuest 97, and is an on-line exploration that is both educational and exciting. It is an expedition that is trying to explore ancient Mayan ruins in Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. Their mode of transportation is bicycles. Not only are you visiting the site, you are actually there, with the participants, deep in the jungle. With the magic of the Internet, it is possible to check the daily status of the trek, to leave email, and to explore the results that the trip have yielded so far.
