This came across my e-mail box the other day. I don’t normally pass much of what I get on, but this made me REALLY MAD! I am forwarding this to you in the hope that it can reach as many people as possible. Then we’ll see who’s in the minority.

My name is Jim Neugent. I wrote to ABC (on-line)
concerning a program called “THE PRACTICE.” In last
nights episode, one of the lawyer’s mothers decided
she is gay and wanted her son to go to court and help
her get a marriage license so she could marry her
‘partner.’ I sent the following letter to ABC
yesterday and really did not expect a reply, but I did
get one.
My original message was:
ABC is obsessed (or should I say abscessed) with the
subject of homosexuality. I will no longer watch any
of your attempts to convince the world that
homosexuality is OK. THE PRACTICE can be a fairly good
show, but last night’s program was so typical of your
agenda. You picked the ‘dufus’ of the office to be the
one who was against the idea of his mother being gay
and made him look like a whiner because he had
convictions. This type of mentality calls people like
me a “gay basher.” Read the first chapter of Romans
(that’s in the Bible) and see what the apostle Paul
had to say about it…. He, God and Jesus were all
‘gay bashers’. What if she’d fallen in love with her
cocker spaniel? Is that an alternative
lifestyle? (By the way, the Bible speaks against that,
too.)

Michael’s show on the 30th of October, 2003 was terrible. If I wanted to join a book club on literature and hear about a novel that I have or have not read, I would join a book club. MICHAEL! Wake up !!! Someone tell me when he’s back, until then I’ll be up the dial listening to Sports or Music. That’s all, that’s it, nothing more to say, it’s now the Savage Book Club.
I loved the response from ABC! What a great response! I wouldn’t have thought a big business would have the strength to put a hate-monger in his place. We need more people to stand up to the hate-mongers, especially the hate-mongers who take the Lord’s name and use it for their own agenda. People like this Jim Neugent above who say “God told me to hate gay people” (or similarly, “God told me to hate black people”, or “God told me to hate Jews and join the Nazi party”, or “God told me to blow up Americans”, or “God told me to hate group X”) are the most dangerous people in the world. It goes beyond just hate, beyond just lynching people; these people are working for the devil, all the while claiming to work for God. For them, it is an excellent tactic – who would dare question someone who speaks in place of God? Well, a simple worker from ABC had the guts and the strength to stand up to this Satan. My congratulations and my thanks to that ABC guy (or gal).

Dear Doctor Savage,
I am a grateful occasional listener, and you never fail to both entertain and inform. That is until this week when you said DUCKS mate for life and don’t mess around. Well, sir, with all due respect I beg to disagree with you on this most important issue. I happen to be a country boy who not only observed ducks, but raised them, Mallards to be exact. We raised geese as well, Emdens and Toulouse to be specific. I agree they are interesting creatures, but to say drakes are monogamous is far from reality. They will not only wear out a number of girl duckies, they frustrate themselves with the much larger goose girls. Drakes are as bad about spreding their love around as any other polygamous critter. The breed of ducks you have in mind are monogamous perhaps for religious reasons, but as for the one’s I’m familiar with, they are libertine to the max, which I find to be odd since my ducks live in the east, and yours on the left coast.

Does History Repeat Itself ?
The noted Philosopher George Santayana once said, “Those who do not learn from History, are doomed to repeat it.”
The ruins of Greece are a tribute to a civilization which rejected God and worshipped the human mind and body.
The basic philosophy of Greece was, “man is the measure of all things. Man, not the gods, the relative, not the absolute.”
The Greeks were committed to building the ideal society. Their three commandments were, “honor the god’s, help your friends, and adorn your city.” Only the strong survived in Greece. Deformed or weak children were hurled from cliffs or abandoned by their fathers to die. Seven year old boys were sent off to learn war. The human body was idolized. A man who could not swim or wrestle was scorned.
As immorality increased, the human mind became supreme. Reason itself was worshipped. The Greeks’ search for knowledge was unending. Their probing produced a pantheon of skeptics, cynics, stoics, and epicureans. Greek scholars laid the foundations for the study of Biology, physiology and anatomy. Their attempt to intergrate bodily ills and the psyche was the beginning of psychiatry. Athenians also had taxed medicare.
Soon the goverment became a bureaucracy bound in red tape and taxation. At one time their were 218 taxes. There was even a tax on tax receipts.
God’s judgment came upon the Greek civilization according to the promise of His Word. “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God.” ( Psalm 9:17 )

Rome conquered Greece and became a great world power. However, the Romans hired the Greeks to teach their children. The national sin of Greece, for which God destroyed it, was Sodomy.
Soon the high moral standards which made Rome a great nation and military power were corrupted and the empire crumbled.
Does any of the above Historical evidence some remotely familiar?
In closing, a local Circuit Court Judge made the following statment, “The U.S. is at the same point in History that Rome was just prior to the fall.”
If we fail to uphold the sacred institution of marriage, and allow the marriage bed to be defiled by “same sex marriages”, we are certain to experience the wrath of an almighty God.
Will God have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorah? I think not !

Stop blaming the fall of civilizations on God.
It was the blame of the negetive patterns that the society followed.
God can show you the way but you have the choice
whether or not to follow it. (example: to be filthy greedy and selfish or to work for a greater good)
You can apply this logic to individuals just as easily as entire societies. You know… someone who
screws their life up by drinking alcohol all the time… it is their own fault. The are hurting themselves- which in turn hurts others. (negative patterns)
The key is honesty and not getting caught up in negetive patterns at all and/or breaking free of them. Follow logic not fallacies. Follow God not Satan. Learn from others mistakes. Learn from your own mistakes.

2. Nuclear Science (see Brain SPECT imaging)
3. L.S.D. (I can personally vouch for this discovery having had tremendous benefits of
personal mind exploration and much greater apprieciation of God and everything from God. All of these are great tools, but we have to use them correctly or they can be destructive. God can only help us out so much… we have to be the responsible ones here.

L.S.D. is a VERY dangerous ILLEGAL drug and I do NOT recommend that anyone take it for ANY reason, let alone to get closer to God. I see nowhere in Scripture where God told people to take drugs in order to know Him better.

Last time i checked Greece was still there, in fact i think there is some sort of sporting event going on there. No civilization that existed 2000 years ago is still around, and using the “Hand of GOD” to explain anything is a straw dog. Greece decayed through disputes inside and among city-states, which were in turn attributable to the love of power and greed which are common to any human institutions, even Christian ones.
As you generally appear to be such supporters of michael wiener (aka savage), I simply must say that YOU ARE F**KING NUTS! And your version of Christianity is the MOST ABSURD I’ve ever encountered. mikey the ‘tard is as much a “christian” as georgie “shove a cherry bomb up a frog’s ass” bush is. Once and for all: America is not a Christian nation. The “God” referenced in the Declaration of Independence [“the laws of Nature” and “Nature’s God”] is not the Christian conception of God but rather a deistic understanding as Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the majority of the Declaration was a Deist. Regardless, the Declaration id not representative of any law of the United States; it was issued before the establishment of our lawful government! The Declaration clearly states that “Governments are instituted among men” and “deriving its just power from the will of the governed” rather than from some divine source.
Even more compelling is the fact that there is not a single reference to God, Jesus, Christianity, or any supreme being whatsoever, NOT ONE! The Constitution is the law of the United States and as such is a clear indication of the intentions of the founding fathers. If America was a Christian nation, don’t you find it odd that “God” is so conspicuously absent from such a foundational document? As for the First Amendment, it clearly states that “Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion…” Thomas Jefferson explained in a letter to the Dansbury Baptist Association in 1802 the 1st ammenment established the famous “wall of separation between church and State.” James Madison echoed these sentiments saying, “Strongly guarded. . . is the separation between religion and government in the Constitution of the United States.”
There are many who take the “spirit of the law” approach when arguing the Christian foundation of America. First of all, this is rather hypocritical since these self-same people are usually the ones raising a ruckus over the alleged abuses of “liberal activist judges” who refuse to stick to strict interpretation and application of the constitution but whatever. Such individuals usually claim that the founding fathers were themselves Christian and obviously meant for Christianity to play a large political/social role etc etc and so forth. Well, they would be wrong. Can I prove it? Yep:
Thomas Jefferson:
– “I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology. Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make one half the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth.”
John Adams:
– “Where do we find a precept in the Bible for Creeds, Confessions, Doctrines and Oaths, and whole carloads of other trumpery that we find religion encumbered with in these days?”
– “The doctrine of the divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity.”
James Madison:
– “What influence in fact have Christian ecclesiastical establishments had on civil society? In many instances they have been upholding the thrones of political tyranny. In no instance have they been seen as the guardians of the liberties of the people. Rulers who wished to subvert the public liberty have found in the clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate liberty, does not need the clergy.”

I could add many more quotes, but I think those that I have so far are quite sufficient. I add only one more bit of proof: in 1797, the “Treaty of Tripoli” was ratified by the Senate, signed by President Adams, and published in newspapers nationally drawing little if any outcry or response and it stated unequivocally: “The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion….”
Oh and one final note: are people really trying to argue that Greece, Rome, and now America were all brought down by sodomy? Three of the greatest civilizations mankind has ever produced, all torn asunder by a particular sexual practice? You know, I always thought humanity’s greatest flaw was it’s hubris, however it would seem I was wrong. It would seem (at least some would argue) man’s tragic flaw is our propensity for anal sex. Wow.
This is a sad day in our country and our lives when our countrymen dispute the Bible and God’s word. Woe unto you! It shows how very simple minded some people are when they can’t seem to understand that God is in control of everything and whether or not you believe in him, someday you will meet him and may God have mercy on your soul.
P.S. Even if some of you are not Christians and do not believe in the laws of the Bible, if homosexuality is normal, wouldn’t the human race become extinct as two women or two men cannot produce another human being? Think about it all of you that are living in darkness. Thank you.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on ONE of California’s problems. As a 6th generation Californian…My suggestions are:
A1. These money suggestions will improve California’s ability to rebuild our infrastructor and improve schools.: ie: PLEASE read the following:
1. STOP all funding to illegals; food stamps, medical, schooling, jails etc..(have jailed stay in that facility that’s on the Boarder in New Mexico, Arizona or Texas that gives no privileges until they can be sent to Mexician Jails)
2. Return/send all illegal immigrants and their illegally born children in this country to Mexico or where ever they came from. This would require a change in our immigration laws but only applies to illegals.
3. If this sounds toooooooo harsh then one more suggestion: allow 11 million illegals to stay in country but NO MORE until their yearly quote is met for the next 10-20-30 years for those 11 million;however many years this would take! Legal immigrants are great, they want to be Americans but these others just want to bleed us dry for their own benefit to support V. Fox welfare in their own countries and S. America. WE CANNOT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE WHOLE WORLD. READ YOUR HISTORY CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES! MW

I have been a Rush listener since probably about 1989. As I recently told a nephew, I had my own thoughts on everything. I was part of the “silent majority”. Rush merely gave us a voice. And, over time it has been effective. While I don’t disagree with most of what you say, I do resent your comments about Rush and Sean. I never heard of you until a few months ago! Rush gave Sean his national opportunity a few years ago. And frankly, I think Sean has been first (if you like to call it that) to speak out about the immigration problems, the Marine problem at CAmp Pendleton, the port problem, etc. Neither of them put you down, ever! You all might be more successful to stick together on the things you do have in common to persuade the American Public! In this, I find you at fault.
