Moments of Extinction
I came across this site the other day, and was intrigued by the message it contains. It is an example of the Internet being used to exchange ideas across cultures, as well as distance. I think you will enjoy it.
The site is called Moments of Extinction. It is a site that features some beautiful photographs of both people and places. In the words of the author/photographer, he has found some meanings through the camera’s eye giving evidence to all that still exists through the magic of a captured moment. It is this use of photography that I find really appealing here.
Through the magic of the camera, it is possible to see far away places. The only thing that becomes extinct is our memory of the moment, but the pictures last forever. Enjoy this truly unique site.
