New Teaching Methods Connect Kids to Places Across the Planet

Remember film strips and big projectors?  Today’s classroom is about as far as possible away from that. With the help of technology, the farthest corners of the world are coming right into kids’ classes through Skype and other ways.

Teacher Amy Rosenstein is on the cutting edge of using these innovative techniques.  From Hong Kong to India to France, she’s bringing the world a little closer to kids and making geography real. Rosenstein has won a Pioneer Award for her use of technology to teach.
