Nuturing Magazine

Motherhood is more than the physical action of raising a child. There are bonds between mothers and their children that are hard to describe, and harder to understand at times. Today’s site is an online area that explores this nurturing bond.

The site, The Official Nurturing Magazine Web Site, is the online version of a printed magazine. It is a source of support, guidance, encouragement, and believe it or not, even some answers to the mystery of being a parent. Some of the areas that are explored are the family bed, waterbirth, non-punitive discipline, and the teen years. (If someone could explain that to me, I would be grateful). The current article is entitled “Losing Jordan: When Blood Means More Than Bonding”. I’m not sure what the article is about, so you will have to visit the site and see for yourself.

The printed magazine is published four times a year, with the rates included on the web site. If you are a parent, or a prospective parent, or even just considering becoming a parent, a visit here will help some of the mysteries about children disappear, or at the very least, become much clearer.
