One of the easiest to use window treatments available is the scarf window treatments. Scarf window treatments are so light weight that they can be hung virtually any way and easily shaped to fit the design effect that you are wanting for your window.


Traditionally scarf window treatments are sold in six yard lengths. They are ideal to swag across the top of a rod and flow in scallops across the top of a window while draping on both sides to accent the underneath curtains, sheers, or even blinds.

Scarf window treatments can stand alone without being hung on top of any other window treatment. You can attach them with sconces, swag holders and or decorative rods that you select to go with your dcor.

When you hang the scarf make certain that both sides hang evenly from the floor to the bottom of the scarf. The center area of the scarf can be even scallops and swoops or you can be creative and have it flowing and hanging in different lengths and thicknesses. Your imagination is your only limit.
