Small Bathtubs

Small bathtubs can be a burden or a blessing. They are easier to clean than a large tub, but can be too little for a comfortable bath. No matter how you might feel about a small bathtub, there may be times when you will have to deal with one. Whether it’s from buying a house and “inheriting” one that way or from moving into an apartment and having to deal with a small tub there, we don’t always have a choice what size our bathtub is going to be.

If you own the property and can invest in a new tub, by all means go for it. Just be sure to keep in mind that you may have a small bathtub already in that room for a reason. Make sure that you take all the necessary measurements before you start dreaming of mountains of bubbles.

If you can’t get a larger size tub then you can enhance the surrounding area to give yourself the impression of a larger space. Use some mirrors to surround the tub if possible and your bathroom will look huge. Another trick would be to de-clutter the bathroom and remove anything that isn’t absolutely necessary.
