Technology has literally changed the way we look at the world we live in. Today’s FamSite is one that is totally out of this world.
The is called Space Imaging, and first became well known when it published their pictures of the World Trade Center last year. But the technology here is truly amazing. Using the IKONOS satellite with 1/2 and one meter resolutions, it gives a whole different meaning to everyday objects, such as the one above, the Washington Monument in our nation’s capital.
