Superhero of Sequels

Movies have brought comic superheroes to a whole new level. What was once single images, are now live action theatrical films. But did we lose something in the transition? Have movies desensitized our marvel at superheroes, or did we lose something a little more sacred? Yes, and it’s not the theatrics that we lost. It is the immortalized image of the superhero. With movies comes actors, and actors can’t stay and are replaced. But the image from comics will always be our fallback.
