The 12 Step Cyber Cafe

Making mistakes is something that everyone does in life. Heaven knows that I have made a mistake or two. Overcoming mistakes, and taking ownership for them is important as well. Some of them are so difficult that it takes other people to help not only see the problem, but overcome it as well.

Today’s Family First site is one that is dedicated to helping people who are dealing with troubles in their life, and may not have anywhere else to turn. It is called the 12 Step Cyber Cafe, and is a place for a cyber visitor to stop and start to get it together. This is a site just brimming with support such as chat rooms, where you can discuss what is going on with your life, a bulletin board where information can be posted and exchanged, a collection of organizations with active links to their home sites. The variety of groups located here is honestly one of the most complete listings I have seen. Everything from gambling to grief/loss to narcotics/tobacco addictions and emotional distress.
When you are having problems in your life, it is hard to go it alone. At this site you can find the start of the help you need to get your life back together. You also may be hunting for resources for a friend or loved one. Either way, this is a site that needs to be bookmarked, and visited often.
