The 911 Site

One of the most popular television shows during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s was “Rescue 911”, a show that recreated emergency situations that had prompted 9-1-1 calls across the nation. It was a show that my children enjoyed, and it helped them to learn about safety in and out of the home.

The Family First site today is a collection of links to emergency resources on the Internet. Here you can learn about how smoke detectors save lives, check in on the Central California coast and the weather problems that are occurring there, as well as links to emergency agencies around the country. This information contained here is very interesting, especially for those of us that grew up wanting to be a fireman. (Okay, some of us still do…!).
