The Future of Games in Education

What is a game? Is it a mindless entity, or a powerful tool? Perhaps I’m a bit too deep. Let’s start with this, why do we play games? Well, humans work on a reward system. We associate bad things we being punished, and good things with rewards. Think about your first kiss, it was warm, nice, and you felt pleasure from it. That’s your brains reward system in action. Games give you that same feeling, and thus, an artificial reward system, so it’s no surprise that schools are using this to their advantage.
