I came across this site several years ago, and thought I would visit it again. It is one that provides a wealth of information on a long forgotten art that most of us have taken for granted. This is a site that shreds the myth that households can “run themselves”, and have a clean and well-organized home “just happens”. This site helps to dispel that myth, and provide common sense solutions.
In their own words, they “prefer cloth diapers not paper, breastmilk not formula, natural not chemical, thrift not convenience”. There are excellent sections on Healthy Living, Family, Home Cooking, and Managing Money. The amount of information contained here is truly remarkable, not only in its depth, but its presentation. The sites takes advantage of the latest Internet technology of blogs, and has an extensive forum section. Book reviews, recipes, and chat sections are also well arranged and topical.
