The Resource Directory for Older People
Growing older is a fact of life. No matter what we do, we will all eventually become older, or “chronoligically challenged”, as my daugher says. But as one increases in age, there are certain changes that need to be made in our lives. Today’s Family First site is one that can help to faclitate those changes.
The site is the main webpage for the Administration on Aging, part of the Department of Health and Human Services. It is intended to serve a wide audience including older people and their families, health and legal professionals, social service providers, librarians, researchers, and others with an interest in the field of aging. The directory contains names, addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers of organizations which provide information and other resources on matters relating to the needs of older persons. There is a wide range of material available, more than I can mention here. It is an excellent use of the Internet to spread information that can benefit all of us.
This is a great resource for older people, and one that can be bookmarked and sent on to others. Enjoy your stop here today.
