The True Meaning of Christmas
Over the past month, we have visited several Christmas sites that featured activities centering on Santa Claus, and how we celebrate the holiday. But now that the evening of the day is here, I thought it appropriate that we look at the true reason for the season. The person who puts the Christ in Christmas.
This site provides great detail of the Christmas story and even deals with many misconceptions people have about Christmas. Was Jesus really born in December? Was He born in a stable? Do those three wise men in your manger scene really belong there?
The site also discusses the reason WHY the birth of the Christ child is so important to each one of us, and how it affects us personally. It is our hope and prayer that you will be touched by the true Spirit of Christmas as you read.
