The Virtual Wall

Time heals all wounds, so the saying goes. It is also said that in order to prevent history from repeating itself, we must learn from the mistakes of the past. Today’s FamSite combines those two concepts in a most interesting site.

Called The Virtual Wall, this site is digital interactive legacy of the men and women who gave their lives in the jungles of Vietnam. This unique Internet experience can mean something different to each visitor. There are profiles of veterans of the wall, name rubbings, reunion postings, and a chance to create your own Virtual Wall page. One interesting part of the site is the listing of the servicemen who died on the current date for all the years that we were there.

This is an excellent site to visit. It is a place to learn, a place to remember, and a place to heal. Enjoy your stop here today, and pass this on to a friend.
