The Visits to Summer: A Christmas Story

Around Christmas time in my hometown, many years ago, the local paper featured a serial about Christmas. They varied from year to year, but they always were fun to read, and made reading the paper an adventure.

The Internet has a site that reminds me of those serialized stories. It is today’s Family Site, and is called The Visits to Summer: A Christmas Story. It is an online audio novel, so not only can you read it, you can listen to it as well, music, colorful illustrations and all the trimmings included at no additional charge. It is a different type of entertainment, but unique in its own way.

So spend a few minutes in the town of Summer, in northern Wisconsin this holiday season. It is a visit you won’t soon forget.
